Nominated Singer and Songwriter, Salina Solomon is a Pop/Rock Singer-Songwriter. Critics have written about her incredible songwriting, unique vocal timbre, and outrageous stage presence that'll certainly get you up and dancing. She has performed in hundreds of venues including Mercy Lounge, Bluebird Cafe, Leftfields NYC, Pianos, and Zoe's Cafe to name a few.
Born into a family of classical musicians and shaped by three cities, Salina Solomon is a perfect combination of classical discipline with pop/rock expression. Salina began playing the cello at age six after being inspired by her father who sings opera in Long Island, NY. Her world changed at the age of 12 when her parents bought her first guitar. She then began to write stories of her world.
Currently residing in Nashville, Salina brought the music she wrote at SUNY Purchase and London to VRadio Nashville, where "Unacceptable" (from her EP "TMI") charted number 1 on VRadio Nashville for 14 weeks straight. Other songs on their top 40 list were "Somewhere" and "Tool". In addition, she debuted her second EP "Meet Me In London" there, where it went number one the first week it was released. With two EPs under her belt, Salina has made great leaps on top 40 radio in Amsterdam and India, podcasts based in LA, and blogs.
Salina was honored to be an artist selected for the AT&T U-Verse fan fair, where she could connect with fans; alongside artists; such as, Jamie Lynn Spears, Hunter Hayes, and Little Big Town. She anticipates a new record sometime in the summer, with the new material that that'll be a fusion of her old style to the new inspirations she has come across in the electronica/pop realm.
